Eliminating Drama

"I think, when people come up to me to ask questions about their problems, I see unsatisfied faces. It's because they expected an answer full of complexity, which would signify the complexity of life too, which justifies having problems. But they don't get that from me. My answers are always very simple and straightforward. And that exactly is the key to a happy life. Humans tend to complicate things because it feels easier when there is something to blame on. Don't."

Laura & Anthony

Without a doubt Anthony and Laura is one of my favorite couple. Both of them plan their prewed and wedding day in an instant (2 months to be exact) and in between the planning Laura is undergoing her practical field work in various hospital (she’s a future doctor) and Anthony himself is a very busy man in Samarinda.

Laura is no stranger to the camera, as she used to do modeling in her hometown and together with Anthony’s cool personality, they really made this photo shoot a blast. There are a lot of interesting behind the scene stories, starting from some random people wanting to take picture with Laura and Anthony during our outdoor photo shoot until the heavy rain while we were shooting on the roof top of a hotel. But at the end of the day their chemistry and easygoing personalities really makes the whole process delightful. At one point we have to stop and laugh out loud listening and looking at Anthony’s silly jokes.

It was their wedding last month, and I was lucky enough to be the witness of their happiest moment. Congratulation to Anthony and Laura, wishing you two an abundance of love and happiness.

Cheers,
Alodita

Marvin & Mia

After a “short” period of 10 years plus as boyfriend and girlfriend, Marvin and Mia decided to tied a knot last September in Bandung. Little that I know these two lovebirds is one of Bandung’s “it” couple. Armed with their closest friends and beloved family Marvin and Mia managed to create unique and quirky wedding.

Especially during the picking-up-the-bride session, Mia’s bridesmaid had prepared fun and crazy games, and as a finale Marvin had to dance to the beat of the infamous Gangnam Style. Without a doubt they both have a great sense of style. Mia as a fashion designer had managed to design her own wedding dress, her mother and sister and also the bridesmaids.

My favorite was their wedding kiss with the beat of the fireworks, very romantic and indeed it was the perfect way to start their journey as husband and wife. Congratulations to Marvin and Mia, may your marriage be blessed with faith, joy, and love ;-)
